Sifu Early Access Release Is Causing Issues For Some Players On PlayStation

Sifu, the premium version of the kung-fu action-adventure, was published yesterday to all those who purchased it, however Ps owners had a few issues obtaining it. Although PlayStation claims to have fixed the issue, it appears that some gamers are still experiencing difficulty obtaining the gameplay.

The early release issue has been resolved, according to the PlayStation squad, and indeed the game can be accessed! Again, we apologize to those gamers who were looking forward to playing earlier today; we'll have an exclusive present for all Deluxe edition users to share with you shortly!

As a possible remedy, Sloclap (the makers of Sifu), recommends resetting your consoles and loading the game through your library.

If you've a PS5, go to Setting > Users and Accounts > Other > Restore Licenses, and afterwards press "Restore" to start the recovery. (To recover licences on a PlayStation 4, go to Setting > Account Management > Restore Licenses.)

Sadly, it doesn't really appear that these ideas are functioning for everyone. If it's not functioning for you, please DM Sifu's devs with your Ps Network ID, as well as the location and if you're using a PS5 / PS4. According to Sloclap, this data is fed on to Ps experts who are "monitoring the issue." Several people suggest trying to reinstall Sifu after getting a game from your Playstation Plus library that you don't yet have.

When the game was scheduled to go live at 7 a.m. ET on Sunday, issues occurred. Gamers soon realized that the game's counting down meter on the Ps Store was frozen some days in the future, preventing waiting to buy gamers from obtaining it.

It could be related to the Ps Store's unofficial launch date for the videogame. While a few people report the launch date was set in April, some say it was established in late February, possibly owing to a calendar format issue.
